Abstract

The Monforte de Lemos fortification constitutes the best united defensive of the XIV-XV century to exist be in Galicia. Still conserve the principal door of accès besides the homage tower of his castle. All to be it preserve and restore because it is the essence and origin of the own name of the today city. It is accompany of a short glyptographic, heraldry and the old count palace study.
