Scientific bibliography preserved in the Pazo de Tor library (Lugo)

One of the best-preserved “pazo” in Galice is the so-called Pazo de Tor” located in the Council of Monforte de Lemos. Since its donation to the Provincial Council of Lugo, it has formed part of the Provincial Museum Network of Lugo and, among other notable elements, it preserves a library made up of almost three thousand volumes, of which forty make up a select group of scientist content, between the 16th and 19th centuries. Due to its interest for the History of Science, we offer in this work a detailed bibliographical and critical study of each one of these works that, as a whole, constitute a legacy of enormous value within the cultural, scientific and historical panorama of Galicia.
